Lauren is currently the Director of UI/UX at Nearpod, a leading EdTech tool supporting educators all over the world with engaging assessment based lessons and activities. She has over 15 years in the UX industry working in product research and design. She founded the South Florida UX Meetup (SOFLUX) and spent a couple years as an adjunct professor at Florida International University teaching Human Computer Interaction. Lauren is proud to have served on the board for UXPA as both the Dir. of Marketing and Dir. of Web. She holds a Masters in Human Factors in Information Design from Bentley University.
