I’ve been working in User Experience Research, under all its various names and titles, for over 27 years. Most of my experience has been with Enterprise and B-B companies (e.g., Oracle, Dell, OpenText, IBM). Over the years I have developed effective techniques for recruiting and maintaining difficult-to-find participants like Administrators, CEOs, Record Managers, and Developers. While others consider this task to be “impossible”, my coworkers and I have been able to maintain a healthy participant garden because of these best practices.
